To me, this is the ultimate multimeter. Besides its graphing and data logging capabilities, there are features like the LoZ Volts mode which you can use to eliminate ghost voltages when performing absence of voltage verification. This multimeter has great resistance and capacitance measurement ranges, very good resolution, filtering capabilities and so much more! With all these features, it’s bulkiness and higher battery consumption are expected. I haven’t dropped one yet (been using them at work for years) thankfully, but I don’t feel like they are super durable. We had one of the tabs in the battery compartment break off rendering this very expensive meter useless. This happens a lot apparently. Instead of trying to kluge something, buy a replacement battery compartment (Jameco).
