MycoSep®
Cleanup Columns
MycoSep® columns represent one-step cleanup columns containing packing materials made of adsorbent mixes specially designed for all food and feed commodities, for fast cleanup within 30 seconds . Cleanup is possible for all EU regulated mycotoxins .
For cleanup with MycoSep® systems, the column is pushed into a test tube containing the sample extract, forcing it to filter upwards. Interferences adhere to the chemical packaging and the purified extract, containing all the mycotoxins, can be collected from the top of the cleanup column.

MultiSep®
Cleanup Columns
MultiSep® columns represent one-step cleanup columns containing packing materials made of adsorbent mixes specially designed for all food and feed commodities, for fast cleanup within 30 seconds .
Using MultiSep® cleanup, the extract is applied on top of the column and passes through either by gravity or by applying vacuum or positive pressure. The purified extract, containing all the mycotoxins, passes through, whereas interferences adhere to the chemical packing.

Cleanup Columns
Romer Labs MycoSpin® 400 multi-mycotoxin two-step cleanup column in a spin format was developed to be used for most regulated mycotoxins to shorten the time-consuming cleanup process . Multiple mycotoxins can be analyzed simultaneously by LC-MS/MS.
Highly accurate LC-MS/MS results are achieved by combining the MycoSpin® 400 cleanup with Biopure™ 13C isotope labeled standards.

Immunoaffinity Columns
The wide range of StarLine™ immunoaffinity columns (IAC) for regulated mycotoxins is based on a specific antibody-analyte binding technology. Toxin-specific antibodies coupled to gel particles capture the mycotoxins in the sample and release them after a washing step.
StarLine™ immunoaffinity columns are designed for simple and reliable cleanup before detection of mycotoxins in a broad range of different commodities. Those IAC can be used for the purification as well as concentration of mycotoxins prior to analysis by various techniques, such as HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS, ELISA or direct fluorometry.
All Romer Labs IAC employ highly specific, monoclonal antibodies.

Additional Equipment
Romer Labs also offers additional equipment. For some analyzes (eg. aflatoxins) by HPLC-FLD, a derivatization of the analytes is necessary. Romer Labs provides equipment like the Romer Derivatization Unit (RDU, photochemical) and the Romer Cell (electrochemical) for post-column derivatization.
Romer Labs Evap System can be used for rapid evaporation of common organic solvents.
